West Bergholt Concert Band & Training Band’s March 20th concert at Clacton’s West Cliff Theatre may be two years late due to Covid, but the delay only makes the band’s return to a venue which holds a special place in the band’s heart & history even more highly anticipated.
The Sentimental Journey concert marks 30(+2) years since our conductor first conducted the band during the memorial concert for the band’s founder, and the 2 year delay also means it’s 40 years since our conductor first joined the band, so returning to mark those occasions will be a very special afternoon for the band.
As always the concert will be delivered in the band’s entertaining style and feature a wide range of music from the Big Bands, Musicals, Films, Pop, Classics, Marches and more.
As with the concert 32 years ago this concert will be in aid of St Helena Hospice, with the band hoping to add to the circa £12k they’ve raised for the hospice in recent years. Tickets are available now from the theatre box office 01255 433344 so give the theatre a call and get yourself a ticket for a wonderful afternoon of good music.
