Shoppers and classic vehicle enthusiasts, start your engines as Helen Rollason Cancer Charity invites vintage and retro lovers to roll back the years and dress to impress for their annual Vintage Day Out on Sunday 10th July 2022!
Celebrating all things vintage from a bygone era, Cressing Temple Barns near Braintree play host to this annual event, all to raise valuable funds for the local cancer charity. 
Sterling Insurance of Bishop’s Stortford have kindly sponsored the event; Andy Morton, General Manager at Sterling explains; “Helen Rollason has a history of providing invaluable support for people in our region living with cancer. The work they provide in communities is inspiring and the decision to join forces with Helen Rollason at their ‘A Vintage Day Out’ event was an easy one for us to make.”
Returning to Cressing Temple Barns surrounded by the beautiful Essex countryside, the ever-popular event is back for a day of live entertainment, hundreds of classic vehicles, food, music, jive dancing, shopping and much more! Showcasing a myriad of vintage stalls, guests can expect affordable vintage fashion, retro second-hand items, beauty parlour, kitchenalia, fashion, jewellery, pre-loved furniture, antiques, collectables and much more!
Food and drink will be available to purchase including hog roast, cocktails and prosecco from The Tipsy Grey Ltd and ice creams from Molly Moos Ices, among others.
There will be live music from rock’n’roll band Kingsmen, performances from LJ’s Jive School where you can watch or join in with modern jive dancing and singing from the fabulous Harmonettes.
Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Community Fundraiser Karen Mitchell said; “We look forward to welcoming all of our guests back to the beautiful grounds of Cressing Temple Barns on Sunday 10th July 2022 for a vintage extravaganza!
Sustainable shopping and its environmental impact are currently a hot topic so we are pleased to be doing our bit by endorsing this practice.
Our event has been described as a hidden gem in the nationwide UK vintage event calendar with people attending from across the country. Whatever your interests and whatever your age, we promise there is something for everyone!
We’re a local charity serving our local community, and every penny raised at this event will go towards ensuring we continue to provide the best possible cancer care now and in the future.”
Tickets on the day cost Adults £6, Concessions (age 65 +) £5, Children 16 and under £1. But if you pre-book your tickets online you can save £1 each! Well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
